Having asked for input from our members about the ‘Taking Forward Wales’ Government consultation, the UFA has submitted its response to the Welsh Government.

There is a petition being run against the commercial export of baby eels (i.e. elvers).

We are seeking your views on the NRW (Natural Resources Wales) proposals for new Welsh catch controls for salmon and sea trout.
It is proposed to have the new controls in place for the 2018 season.

We are now coming near the end of the consultation period set by the Welsh Assembly Government regarding Access.
