Abstraction and Salmon Stocks

The abstraction survey / report being written by John Lawson has not yet been finalised and is expected this autumn.

The NRW feel that the Usk salmon stocks will now ‘probably not be at risk’ by 2015 and therefore they have no plans to alter the fishing byelaws on the Usk at the present time. Good news for many anglers.
