Oil pollution in Cwmbeth Brook by Crickhowell
You may have read the news that there has been oil pollution in the following BBC news item:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-31444255
Harry Legge-Bourke, UFA’s Chairman, spoke to the incident officer around 4 pm today. The source has been found: it has wiped out the cwmbeth brook from the housing estate area to the river. The oil is ground based and not surface oil — and it is being controlled. The dilution levels are good and it has not affected the river Usk as yet and is not likely to.
As and when we receive updates we will add them to the website.
